I have VIDEOSTUDIO7 and have found that the first two menu chapter
titles , after burning to DVD, are sometimes changed to black. I have set all my titles to white and they are all white in the preview prior to burning.
This does not always happen, and if I burn again a couple of times,
all the titles come out white as I require. Its hit or miss affair- no apparent
logic or reason. At least none I can see.
I am not sure whether this is a fault with the software. Has anyone
else had any unexpected changes to the titles like this.
Sometimes I even get Chapter numbers added, when again no number
option was set by me, nor were there any Chapter numbers when I ran the preview immediately prior to burning or saving as an image to hard disk.
Any help please from anyone who can offer a few suggestions.

I have not run any patches as I was not sure it was a software
problem. But now I know it is a known issue which was sorted out
in a patch, I will load the latest patches for Videostudio 7 and see
if that fixes the problems I am having with the colour and numbers
changes to my menu chapter names.

I have downloaded the Videostudio7 update patch build 7.01 and
this does not solve the problem.
So its back to square one. I assume even if I upgraded to version 8
the problem will still be there? Anyone using version 8 and had similar
problems with colour changes in menu chapter titles?
Any successful suggestion in solving this gets a holiday for two on the moon.

I vaguely remember an old post by our much missed Jerry Jones saying that the only way to circumvent this bug was by changing the color of each chapter title to black and then back to the desired color in the VS authoring step.
Probably someone out there may confirm whether this was procedure was Jerry's actual recommendation.
