Until recently I was able to use DVDWS 1.2 without problems. Now, whenever I try to make a dvd image it crashes when reaching the last step of the procedure. I downloaded DVDWS 2 trial but I never managed to use it as it crashes whenever I try to add a video title (mpeg file made with Ulead Video Studio). There must be some sort of conflict but I can't figure out what it is.
Can anyone help?
DVD Workshop always crashes
Probably a corrupted MPEG file.
All of my crashes and "lip-sync" problems have been due to corrupted MPEGs. It took me a really long time to figure-out wat was going-on, because the files had "sneaky" corruption. They played-back fine, but caused Workshop to crash, or resulted in DVDs with sync problems.
It was the MPEG causing the problems. In my calse I was making an unedited version and a censored version. The unedited MPEG caused no problems... Only the file that had been edited with Video Studio caused problems!
Did you edit an MPEG, or convert an AVI/DV file to MPEG as the last step? If you editied an MPEG with Video Studio, that's the source of the corruption. (MPEGs are not meant to be edited.)...(mpeg file made with Ulead Video Studio).

When you say you created an MPEG file, was it MPEG2 (A standard DVD compliant file) or did you make an MPEG4
MPEG4 is a badly named file, they are in fact highly compressed AVI files which are not DVD compliant.
You need to supply to us more information regarding the source of your file and then what you did with it afterwards. You need to let us know what settings you used to create your file in readiness for it to be used by DVD WS.
