Update Packs

Post by dannyp »

My question is as follows and concerns WS2:

Does the Update Pack (Build Number:2.232) contain what ever is
included in build 2.231 or in other words...
What should I do If I re install WS2?
Install build 2.231 and then build 2.232 or installing 2.232 covers all that is needed.

Thanks to all
Danny

P.S
I did read the "sticky" but I do not think that my machine details has anything to do with my question. :D

That's a good question. Most updates usually include updates from previous one's though I have read the site several times and can find no mention of this point.

What I do whenever I download updates etc is preserve them onto a CD/DVD disc using the multi-session option so that I can keep adding items to that disc. There is certainly no harm in installing both updates or more if/when they come out. You can also rename the updates so that you install them in the correct sequence. eg update01.exe update02.exe etc.

it might not include the burning patches that Ulead provides on occasion. But the software should be up-to-date with the latest patch...
