How to make a manual slideshow with stoppoints

Post by mneumann »

I want to make a manual slideshow, where you can determine with the buttons of the remote control, when you are changing to the next slide. Is there any Ulead product that could have such functionality of setting stop points? Or is there another software around that could do that? This stoppoint functionality will be very crucial for me.

DVD Workshop 2.x (Full or Express) could work. You could setup menus to be your slides.

But doing it this way could have limits -- there could be a limit on number of menus -- how many slides do you plan to have...

I don't know of any Ulead products that allow you to advance your slides via buttons. They do have a couple of programs for creating slideshows, however they are automatic, no stop & go..

However I have used for several years a Flash authoring program, which is relatively easy to learn and use, and you can do just what you want. You might check it out, http://www.swishzone.com

Yes, that is nice, but a Flash file is not going to play on a DVD player. That is what I want to do. On a PC I could settle for Powerpoint otherwise. But the requirement is to get it playing on a cheap household DVD player.
