the message i get when i move an avi file to add media area is [C:\moviefile.avi]is not accessible. OK
i cant move avi file to make a vcd or dvd. i have in the passed but since i reformated pc i havnt been able to
any help would be greatful

not sure about this, but did you backup files to disc, and then copy them back to your hard drive?

maybe the file attributes were changed to read-only during the transfers...

i checked and the read-only is not tick in attribtes

thanks for you reply GeorgeW problem fixed i turned on share files with all network users on and it fix the problem.
