I created an MPEG file from a VSP project and loaded it into a DVD Workshop 2 Express project and the video and audio are choppy and out of sync. The MPEG file plays fine in Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, but inside of DVD Workshop 2 Express, it's awful. My goal is to be able to edit videos in VS and produce MPEG that I can load into DVD WS in order to create more polished menus, etc.
I have a Dell with a Pentium IV (2.6 GHz), 512MBytes, Plenty of free disk space (67 GBytes).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Additional Information
I discovered tonight that when I preview the video in the small preview pane of the import video menu, the video quality is fine. Good video and the audio is synched. It's not bad until I try to play it inside DVD WS once it's loaded. It's also bad when I play it in the "Finish" tab.
You have a corrupt MPEG file. I call it "sneaky" corruption because it seems OK 'till you try to make a DVD out of it.
What was the format before you made an MPEG? Did you do any editing after converting it to MPEG? Simply editing an MPEG can cause this sneaky corruption problem.I created an MPEG file from a VSP project...

No Editting after I made an MPEG
I created the MPEG from Video Studio and read it directly into DVD Workshop. No editting in between. I have an idea though. Another post had some verbage about using the "Same settings as project button". I didn't do this on my first tries. I used the other settings buttons. When I tried the "Same settings ..." button, the MPEG it produced was significantly smaller and still played on RealPlayer and Windows Media Player. I haven't had a change to test the DVD Workshop import yet. Any comments on this latest direction would be appreciated. Thanks.

Update
I tried the smaller MPEG file in DVD Workshop and the quality was acceptable. I added some menus and played it and the quality was good. However, I saved the DVD WS project and opened it up and the video quality was degraded. My concern is that DVD WS is corrupting the MPEG file contents in some fashion when saving as a project. I will workaround this by not depending on saved DVD WS projects for anything but menu contents. I will burn the DVD before I save the project with the MPEG as untouched by software as possible. Thanks for the inputs.
It sounds like WS2 is probably re-encoding your project. I suggest you render your project into an AVI file in VS9 and use WS2 to do the encoding. That way, you are sure that the encoding is done only once.
