OK, have downloaded the new patch, and PI11 opens again now, but the ens text error has returned.
In case you're wondering, I like Ulead software (I've bought it enough over the years, though its disappointing with this version of PI.
There aren't many programs you can use, and get great results in a short space of time, and I include the Gif animator and Cool 360 in that. Actually the 360 software is great. Seriously, in no time from taking photos on a tripod, I had a 3D image as good as the image used to show off its capabilities. Can this file be saved as a Flash file? Basically something which makes it easier to view in a web page.

So I found the new patch for PI11 out there, downloaded it, and it's telling me that it can't find PI11 installed on my system.
I launched PI11 and it was installed and working fine (or as well as can be expected). Tried launching the patch with PI11 running, and it still couldn't find the existing version.
So I went to the Control Panel and did a repair, which reinstalled the files, registry entries, etc.
The update still thinks PI isn't installed on my PC. This is frustrating, knowing that bug fixes have been released but won't install.
My original install was defaults, install everything to default directory.
Anyone figure out how to get the patch to install correctly?
My system:
P4 2.6GHz w/ HT
1G RAM
HP Pavilion a250n
200G HD (>100G free)
nVidia 8x AGP video card
PI11 launches from "C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead PhotoImpact 11\Iedit.exe"
Install is the upgrade version; PI user since 7. I don't remember which previous serial number I typed in. PI10 is also installed on the system.

When did you download the patch? Around 17 Feb there was another version released.alan927 wrote:So I found the new patch for PI11 out there, downloaded it, and it's telling me that it can't find PI11 installed on my system.

Yesterday
Yesterday. I downloaded it again from the 2nd site to see if the first download was corrupt, and the 2nd one wouldn't recognize my PI11 installation either.
Today I did a complete uninstall, rebooted and completely reinstalled PI11 (+ Cool360, Photo Explorer). I launched it once to make sure it would startup, closed it then applied the patch.
It worked.
I hope I don't have to do this with every update. But, at least it's working and the multivision lens filter problem I was having appears to be fixed.
