Quick Command Panel question
I never have been able to figure out how to use the Quick Command Panel. Lets say I have 5 instances of Text in Black. I want to select the first one and change it's attributes to White. Then instead of selecting the next one and changing it's atttributes can't I just use the "QC" panel to do that quickly? I don't see how.

The Quick Command Panel allows you to run predefined tasks. there are a few that come with PI but you can record new ones for your own use. They are a bit like macros in other programs.
Actions that you record there do affect the whole image. I have never used a task to modify only a selection in an image and am not sure if that will work.
I may give it a try later on and let you know.

To add to Heinz comments;
The Tab named Task, on the Quick Command Palette will allow you to record a Task that could let you change any object to the color of white. Once the Task is recorded, you would highlight the object and then click the named Task. The downside is you have to create additional Tasks for other colors.
You can accomplish the same task by using the Tool Attributes bar under the Command Menu and change color much quicker. Alternatively, right clicking on an object and calling Properties from the menu and then change the color.
There are half a dozen ways you can address this task, and almost all of the information is in the Help files.
