Hi all
Can anyone help me with this problem, i have searched for any similar threads and not found anything similar so here goes.
I am using videostudio 7 which was supplied with my sony DVD handycam dcr-dvd101e.
The problem I have got is when I capture clips direct from the handycam via a usb lead into videostudio and then replay them there is no sound whatsoever.
I have opened windows media player and using the same clip played it back with sound no problem.
I have seperated the sound and video - a sound file appears to have been created but when played their still is no sound.
I have spent many an hour trying to capture different clips with different settings all to no avail
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thank You
No sound on capture

Hi
Your camera appears to use digital dolby.
Quote from:- http://www.cnet.com.au/photography/camc ... 546,00.htm
(Audio fares better, with support for two-channel Dolby Digital AC-3 audio)
Video studio 7 does not support Digital Dolby.
To play the audio download and install the AC 3 plug in filter
http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/
This should allow you to hear the sound, but you will not be able to re-code the file using VS 7
Upgrade to VS 9 for Digital Dolby support.
Hope this Helps
