Insert Text-Webdings etc...show up as rectangle

Post by Dahl »

When I try to insert a single text letter from a Symbol type font, Webdings, and Wingdings etc... I just get a rectangle. The only way I have worked out to get around this is to type more than one "letter" and then I get the object("letter")that I am after. I then split text and use the object manager to delete the extra "letter". Is there a bug in the system or am I missing something. I really like using the symbol type fonts. :?: :?:

Hi Dahl,

I tried inserting Webdings, wingdings, etc.. with the same results. It apparently is bug, or just a font that 3DPS doesn't work with well. I have a few fonts on my system, Behaus (sp?)being one I really like, that it just does not recognize.

Sorry for the delay in replying...

Thanks. Although I am still a bit of a beginner I am running workshops at our club for interested users and I can now tell them that that is a bug in the program.
