VS9 and MovieStar 5 - Codec Missing

I use MovieStar 5 to capture MPEG 2 video and VS9 to edit it. After capture though the DVC150 using MovieStar 5 the video has no pictures (just sound) and Media Player says Codec error. The video will play within MovieStar 5 or VS9 but not stand alone.

If I look at Tools -> Product Codec Information within VS9 it shows MPEG-2 Full.

Can anyone offer advice please.
