Media Studio Pro 7, rolling credits

Post by appsyscons »

Using Media Studio pro 7, I have successfully created rolling credits using ‘title’, black background, white text, and motion from bottom to top. However, I can only get about 10 lines of text this way. Doing multiple title clips on separate tracks and synch them up seems way to time consuming. What is the correct way to create many lines of rolling
credits?

With v. 7.n, it is not a good idea to have long rolling credits from the titler, because the rendering time becomes counted in months, or so it seems!

Workaround: use any graphics app that can handle vector text, such as PhotoImpact 11 or Draw! with a 720 (or whatever your project width is) pixel width and a suitable height. After having put in your text, save it as BMP (with a solid background) or TGA (using an alpha layer with a transparent background) and import it into the MSP timeline, stretching it along the timeline to a suitable length. Use Moving Path 2D Basic to perform the scroll.
