How to type an "e" in text

Post by marcvanimpe »

What am I doing wrong?
Whenever I try to use the text tool in Photoimpact 11 and I type an "e" in my text, the program considers it to be the shortcut for Deselect all Objects (from the Object Command list), which indeed is an E.
I have not found a way to edit entered text outside the drawing window as a workaround.

JUST ADDED:
HAHA, just found out that changing Workspace does the trick as suggested in other topics...
But now my keyboard shortcuts mentioned next to the commands are... listed in French ("Maj" for "Shift" and "Entree" for "Enter").
What the hell is going on?

Do you have French installed in your "Regional and Language" options in the Windows Control Panel? If so you may have inadvertantly selected that instead of English. (Perhaps by catching the Language Bar if you have it displayed.)
