HELP! HELP! I'VE FALLEN AND I CAN'T GET UP! -- Adding sound

Post by peeojay0912 »

I am trying to add sound to just 22 frames of my project, which is near the end of the clip. When I select Background Audio, the sound is played throughout the clip. How do I shorten the length of the sound bite and place it where I want it within the clip?

I do not think that you can arrange the sound clips (at least I also have not found out a easy way).

What I normally do is export as a AVI, drag into a video editor and add the sound from there.

Hope this helps

Select Project->Background->Audio, you will see the Open Audio File dialog to be appeared. Select the audio file you wish to use and then click on Duration, then you can set the mark-in/mark-out of the audio file and then use the trimmed duration of the audio file in your C3D project.

Hope this helps.

HT,
I think what he wants is that the audio clip does not start in the beginning of the animation, unless his audio clip has silence in parts of it, otherwise I do not think there is really a method to put the sound starting say only frame 22 of a 100 frame project.

Is there a method? Maybe you have some ideas, am willing always to learn from the experts
