Ulead - retaining pix from prev viewing

I am using Ulead Version 7.02E. When I pull pictures from digital camera and try to view them - - the first pix will come up then just "junk" pictures come up when I click on the "next" arrow button. These may be pictures from a catalog that I might have viewed, there are logos, animal pictures - - just a variety of pictures. I've tried to delete but they just retain more - - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME. . . THANKS SO MUCH
