buring to disc question

Post by ajcvideo »

I am experiencing the following problem.

I have a 33 min. clip followed by a 13 min. clip followed by a 6 mi. clip and these three clips are duplicated totaling 2 hours. Everything is checked properly and during the burning process it stops halfway through stating not enough disc space. I have used used these files before whith much success but I never duplicated them within the same project. I am aware of checking audio to disc template and compressing the audio. Before I press the burn button it says that I need 4.1 GB on the disc so that part is O.K. Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

One more question. Is AC3 audio the same as changing the audio from 384 to 224 kps manually?

Much obliged,
Ara

Sounds like you are possibly lacking space on the C: drive. I recommend you have at least 5 Gb free on this if you burn directly or 10 Gb if you also "burn" to folders or ISO on HDD.

AC-3 is a compression standard for audio, and it is not the same as LPCM or MPEG. I recommend you use AC-3 at 192 kbit/s for stereo 2.0. Dolby Digital is the most popular commercial designation for AC-3 and is used in WS2, under licence.
