Please Help!!!! CAnt burn DVD-R!!!

I have installed DVD MovieFactory 3.5 that came with the Pioneer Internal DVD/CD writer DVR-509. I also installed the driver ULCD.

I have tried to copy movies onto a Memorex DVD-R (as in video clips) and it tells me that there is something wrong with the device. it burns CD-Rs just fine and CD-ROM works, and it plays DVDs just does not record them. i finaly got it to record (I used the troubleshotting guide and made a video image file) but it still didnt work right, now it just plays like 3 seconds of jumping(skipping) on my DVD player. I am new at this whole thing so what am i doing wrong?

i am using Windows XP with the "Enable CD Recording on this drive" box unchecked.

any advice would be helpful...thanks in advance.

Not sure of the workflow your using with that program.

Have you installed the patch for MF3Se.
Scroll down the webpage to the update for the SE versions, download, install & reboot.
