Installing Video Studio 9
I have been trying to install the VS 9 upgrade without success. The message says that there is no previous versions of the same on the computer whilre trying to install VS9. But I have the VS 7 installed and running for some years. How can I overcome this problem. I have sent several messages to Ulead without any any proper response from them . Can some one advice me, please.

I am having the same problem. Ordered the upgrade from VS7 to VS9 in early December hoping to make video gifts for Christmas, but I couldn't get the upgrade installed because for some reason, it couldn't find the previous version on my computer. I have tried to contact Ulead and Element 5 multiple times since then and have only received 1 response and it was useless. Now I can't even get VS7 to work.
I have been a loyal user of ULEAD products since the 90s but I am very frustrated with their lack of support now. I am about ready to dispute the charge with my credit card company and find a product from a different company. Pretty sad since ULEAD has good products and I have referred several friends and coworkers to them. I have seen some pretty bad customer service in my days, but I am sad to say that this is a new low for me!
