DVD Menu whats the IMG_TEMPLATE for?

Post by Bobed2121 »

Easy Palette>Libraries>DVD Menu. Open any one of them. The first item in the Layer Manager is an IMG_TEMPLATE. What's it for?

Hi,

That is for dvd menu. Click on the top box (show/hide) icon on the left side of it. You will see it then. It's all of the layers below it combined...

Regards...

EDIT: Ignore this, I've found it... in Advanced workspace

BTW, how to add this (DVD) item to library? When I try adding, it says it's already in the library, but it's not there :?:

Yes but what is it for? I think it's a thumbnail to show up in workshop correct?

Yes it is a thumbnail, to show up in whatever authoring program, like Workshop, Movie Factory, Video Studio, or Media Studio Pro. What you are seeing below the thumbnail, are the Layers that are in that thumbnail. All those layers are grouped together in that thumbhail.

I have created a 29 page PDF tutorial (in "for dummies" style) detailing how to create a DVD menu from scratch.

See this post for details:
