PhotoImpact 4.2 and PhotoExplorer 4.2 on Windows XP Media
I have bought a new Dell computer model E310 with Windows XP Media Center. Will PhotoImpact 4.2 and Photo Explorer 4.2 work with my new computer?? The old computer which had Windows 98SE worked flawlessly.
As far as I know, it will. I don't recall when I got XP but I don't remember ever hearing that 4.2 wouldn't run on it. Why not just install it and see?

The XP Media Center OS is slightly different in many aspects to your ordinary XP Home or Pro. I do not have any experience with XP MC but do know that some people run PI on XP MC systems. Whether any of them use your particular version I don't know.
In case you have a problem, try running PI in compatibility mode for Win 98. XP does have that feature.
