:shock: what happened.. i reformatted pc and installed xpsp2 now after i installed gifanimator 5, it wont load... just close with no warning as it stats up and loads it stuff... anyone had this happen and know how to fix? :?:

Please try to rename the uvAVI.vio in the [Install path]\VIO folder then start Ulead GIF Animator again to see if it fixes.

If it does, some video/audio codec packs in your system is not compatible with Ulead GIF Animator and you will need to remove these codec packs. Usually they are Nimo or XviD codec packs.

i have installed K-lite mega codec pack which includes Xvid codec, u mention renaming file, what should it be renamed to? id rather not uninstall that codec i use it for many other projects

You can just rename uvAVI.vio to any file name you want to see if the codec pack is the problem. If it is, you can contact Ulead Tech Support to ask for updated uvAVI.vio file for fix.

You will get faster response if you phone them.

:shock: i renamed file but still no luck, i uninstalled codec pack and voila, all systems are go... problem is i have to uninstall everytime i want to use gifanimator, lucky my pc due for format and i get trial period again before i decide if i want to purchase it, not if i have to uninstall codecs everytime i wont be, i will try tech support, thanks
