Trial download problems

Post by waterspout »

I've been trying for a couple of days to download a trial version of VS9 but the link is so slow that I have had to give up half way each time.

Has anyone else had the same problem in the UK?

Do the people at uLead know about this?

As an alternative, you can order a CD containing all of Ulead's demos.
Now using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop

The other possibility is for you to use an ftp download program that allows resume of the download - that way it can drop out many times and you just retry and it starts from where it last dropped out.

Flashgot is one such program but these days almost any decent ftp program should incorporate the feature.

Peter -

I think Firefox is supposed to do that - I'll give it another try.

I have Firefox - Flashgot is one of the Extensions that you can install for it - it is very nice and above all free! :-)
