Incomplete Installation

I recently purchased an upgrade of Cool 3D which transforms my 2.5 version to 3.5.
I have two computers -the one connected to the net is running Windows 98 (1)and my NLVE computer Windows XP pro.(2)
I normally download relevant programs for the video editing computer onto computer 1 to a shared site which can be accessed via network.
The full program works fine on computer 1 but only partly on computer 2.
On computer 2 I keep getting the following messages

1 Creating class not registered failed?

2.Cannot enumerate the component
&
3 plug is not installed or supported in this version.It will not be applied to this project.
On the palette in STUDIO Compositions get message 1-grouped objects 1 + 2 Shapes get message 3 Objects 1 + 2 and in
OBJECT STYLE
Light + Colour gets 1 + 2 How can I resolve this problem.I did get the update disk & tried re installing with this but to no avail

Error was due to fault on my part when I transferred the C3D 2.5 SHORT CUT instead of the program hence the update had nothing to which it could attach .Apologies to all
