SUBJECT: It finishes converting and gives me this error message when it's done: The video data in the MPEG file is not compatible with this program.

Properties of your source files (format, file size, where did you get it?)
AVI, 5.8GB, I got it from Windows Movie Maker as a DVI-NTSC Output.

What devices are involved and their mode of connection?

Unsure as of now. I'm trying to copy again.
