splits my video file in two

when i go to Create a video file just before burning a DVD I go to Add Video and i see my video file i created is in 2 pieces one approx 4,192,000 kb and the other approx 356,000 kb is there a setting i can use to stop this from happening?

It looks like you are capturing to a FAT 32 formatted hard drive, to capture files larger than 4GB you have to have a NTFS formatted hard drive.

Just to expand a little on tyamada's response: if you are using Win Me or Windows 98, your system will be FAT32 and there is not much you can do short of upgrading your operating system. If you are using NT/Win2000/XP, you may still have FAT32 on one or more of your drives, though NTFS is the 'native' format of these operating systems. You can change the operating system on those drives without affecting any other files you might have on those drives.
