No sound with menu's

I have been using DVD Workshop for 2 years and have had no problems until now. The problem is that when I preview my finished project the background audio for the menu does not work, everything else works fine the audio does not work even when I burn the dvd.

This problem just appeared suddenly.

Can anyone help.

If it has been working for the past 2 years, and I presume you are following your well established workflow I would be asking myself what has changed on this computer.
Have you recently installed some new software or hardware

Removed anything?

This happens to me occasionally. It's fixes itself after a restart. Just a driver hitch I think.

I have a similar problem, but when I burn, the the audio is fine. When I create a video file in MediaStudioPro 8, which has Dolby Digital 2.0/Stereo, it won't play in WS2, but it's ok on the burned dvd.. When I create a video file using MPEG or LPCM audio, it plays ok. This happens for the menu's or the main video. It's like Workshop doesn't reconize DD.

I have all the updates installed.
