I have VideoStuido 9 on an AMD processor, ASUS A8N5X, 2GB of memory, ATI FireMV 2200. I have two camcorders, an older PC100 (going up for sale today, along with my old Pinnacle software), and a new Panazonic PG-GS250. With either camcorder, if I capture video through firewire, I hear the audio, but I get no video at all.
What's wierd is that when I stop capturing, I can see the video on the thumbnail, and if I "scroll through" the clip, but when I play the clip, the video is gone--just a black screen. I can exit video studio, and play the resulting captured AVI or MPEG in some other player, and I get the same thing--just audio, no video.
Any ideas???
