Through my small business I capture flim from an old projector using UVS9 and convert it to DV, but the equipment I use has had a lense removed for better quality, but it captures the video upside down.
I was given a program with the equipment called Dodcap -or- Cinecap and it will do the veritcal flip I need, but it takes way too long and is not cost effective. approx 75 minutes for one of my reels to vert flip.
I was wondering if anyone knows of a Vertical Flip or even Horizontal Flip plug in, or if you know anything that might help me solve this business crashing dilema. thanks - marcus.

Three things you can try.
1. Download the burger transitions
http://www.burgers-transition-site.de/d ... index.html which includes a flip filter. You could also look at Stefan Burgers FXBench
http://www.burgers-transition-site.de/d ... index.html
Both of Stefans items are free.
2. Could you perhaps mount your camcorder upside down whilst filming. I realise you are doubtless using a tripod for the current project.
As this is a business purpose you could perhaps get someone to construct a purpose made device sort of like a vice or clamp to hold the camcorder.
Item 2, although involving a possible small outlay to construct such a device, would be preferable as you would not be losing further quality in any process involving flipping the film over.
3. See this post regarding rotating the video through 90 degrees

Mounting the camera up side down will not correct the reverse image (as in left is right and visa versa).
Video Studio 9 has a rotate video however, that still doesn't correct the reverse image.
I just checked and found out Media Studio Pro 8 has a video filter called flip, it looks like it will do exactly what you want, I'm not sure about the time it would take to convert the file.
You should download Trial for MSP8 and test it to see if it fills your needs.

I made my first capture from my Panasonic NV-GS15 camcorder to my ThinkpadT42 PC with VS 9,0 today. I succeded finally, but the result came upside down. Did you solve your problem? I am using a USB connection as there is no Firewire on my TP. I would be glad to hear from you if you solved your problem.

Inverted capture from Panasonic NV-GS15 through VS 9,0
I tried my ULead Video Studio 9,0 for the first time today. After some difficulties I could make capture connection but the images came upside down. I use a USB connection to my Thinkpad T42 laptop (1,7 GHz). I would be glad if anybody had a solution to this problem.
