Hi Cyberty3210,
This is strange, VS should play them. Did you create them, or download them off the internet?

If you downloaded them could you provide a link to where, and I will have a look to see why this happening.

Cyberty,

You are correct, the sound will not play. It's a wonder that it plays in VS at all. The SWF is a Compressed File. With the SWF file in your timeline, right click and select properties. It shows Video Compression: DV Compression.

I have seen that and others by the creator and they are funny..:)

But no VS will not play those correctly.

If you had the authoring program that was used to create it. My guess would be the author used Macromedia Flash MX 2004 (as these have been around for a while). For what it's worth I use Swishmax which is also a Flash authoring tool. After downloading I imported it into Swishmax, and received the warning that it is copy protected. So trying to do anything with it would fail. I wouldn't try to anyway, it's illegal to do so.
However with Flash authoring, there is a working file, with Adobe (Macromedia) the working file is a "fla", with Swish it is a "swi". So those files would be needed to do any modification to it. The file you are concerned with was not produced using a Swish product.
