Capturing video on Videostudio 9
I want to create, edit and burn a video onto a DVD in MPEG II format. Should I capture the video from my sony DV recorder in DV format or in MPEG format or does it not make a difference. The manual indicates that if I capture in DV format, I can separate out from the video recording the audio track into a separate track and that there might be other advantages to capturing in DV format. Is there any reason not to capture in DV format and if I want to burn the project into a DVD in MPEG? I have plenty of space on my hard drive to capture in DV or MPEG.
