GIF-Animator- Change XY on 174 frames

Post by Cobra-BOM- »

I have been trying to change the XY coordinates on 174 frames within the canvas and can't seem to get the sync to work right.

1. I selected 2-173 frames that I want to change the XY like frame #1
2. I select frame synchronization but no combination of options yields the desired result.

What else should I do?

The Web Utilities section of this site is the place to post GIF Animator questions, by the way...

A little more info would be useful, but I'll take a guess at what you're trying to do here. We'll have to assume that the object(s) in question are in the correct place in Frame 1.

Don't select all the frames. Select Frame 1. Then select all the Objects in the Object Manager. Now is when to use the Synchronize button. Do this, but with Frame 1 selected as the source.

That should work.

Your example shows Frame 16 as the source, but your comments and instructions say to use Frame 1. ???

Anyway, it doesn't work right. The result when done the way you are suggesting is that all 174 frames have all the objects in each frame, thus no animation. Only the last frame or object is all that shows in the final.

Re-read the instructions, double-check what you did. Did you have visibility checked as well? That should not be checked.

Yes, the screen shot shows Frame 16, but use Frame 1. Otherwise the settings in the screen shot should work, based on what info you provided.
