DVD Authoring with VS9?

Post by enigmacode »

Hello

I've used VS8, and really liked it for it's smoothness, and simplicity.

I have however found another moderately priced program to do strickly more complex raw editing: cuts, and the addition of multi-track sound and video clips.

I'm going to mix those projects down and export those files to DV-AVI's or just AVI's and then bring them into VS9 where I'll add video effects, fades, titles, and transitions.

Now I'd like to know if VS9, will allow the additional purchase of added plug-in's for DVD Menu templates? From Ulead?

*Please note that I'm trying to keep the cost down - (that's why I'm not using Ulead Edit Pro8)

Does SV9 do a decent job in DVD authoring? Can I add (purchase) other nicer DVD Menu templates from Ulead? Will it's authoring capabilty at least match that horrible Pinnacle junk?

Than you so much

Extras, including DVD templates, can be found here:

As far as DVD authoring, VideoStudio is primarily an editor that has some authoring capabilities. DVD Movie Factory (http://www.ulead.com/dmf/runme.htm), on the other hand, is primarily a DVD authoring app, and DVD Workshop (http://www.ulead.com/dws/runme.htm) is it's big brother.

Download the trials and give them a whirl!
