VS9 Upgrade - Content Packs won't run

I upgraded VS8 to VS9 with the Download version, then used Smart Download to get the extra files. These include 4 content pack files, none of which will run when I double-click them.

Any ideas?

Update...

A couple of these files appear to be a lot smaller than they should be! I've found the ftp site and will download them again from there. Hopefully they will then work.

Many of us have gone through this. The problem is that ULEAD's FTP server very often closes the connection prematurely, unfortunately not with an error, but indicating the file has finished downloading.
Two possible solutions: a) repeat until you are lucky
b) download using GetRight or something similar - this program will ask for the size of the file first and will then keep trying to resume download until it has it all.
Word of warning though: I had to set the "referer" in GetRight to indicate it's a request from the ULEAD website and I also changed GetRight's browser identification string so that it appears to the FTP server like normal Internet Explorer. Before I had done that, the FTP server would always tell me "busy - try later". Now I don't know whether any of those two actions was really necessary, but this Voodoo did the trick.

Thank you for your reply Wolf. I followed the link in the Ulead Technical FAQ which led to an FTP folder. I was then able to download the files without any problems, by right-clicking and selecting 'Copy to Folder...". They also installed fine.
