I have just purchased video studio 9 - after I opened the program to find the free trial expired - and a pop-up told me I needed to upgrade. So I clicked upgrade and was told I would need to enter an activation code once I had paid. Anyway I was taken to the webpage where I paid for the product and receivd en email with the unlock code. Back on video studio, the pop up was asking for my activation code, which I copied and pasted from my email, only to be told it was invalid. I tried three more times, then tried typing it myself letter for letter, and was still being told it was valid!
I'm not happy about this as I've just paid for something and now can't use it! Anyone able to help?
Just purchased, but activation code invalid!

My advice is to contact element5, not Ulead support.
I've had a problem with a MediaStudio download a few days ago, and element5 responded within the same working day, while I still wait for a response from Ulead on a VideoStudio issue from 3 weeks ago.
You'll find a link to a web form in point D ("Customer Service") of the mail your code came with. Again, don't try C ("Technical Support") which leads to a Ulead form, "U" as in "useless" or "U" as in "U will never hear from us again after you parted with your money"
Good luck
Wolfgang

By the way your in the wrong forum, This one is for Media Studio.
However.... just to clear up one small point, please check that it is an activation code and not a serial number that you are entering.
The following samples only show the format, these numbers are made up.
Activation Code
1A2B345C6C-ABCDE78F
Serial Number
123A2-45000-00012345
If you are entering the correct format then have you tried to uninstall Video Studio and then re-install it?
