I just bought and downloaded MSPro and the extra content files, yesterday, 31st January.

I'm guessing that I won't have to download and install the update to MSPro released on 26th January.

Is this correct or not?

Most likely not correct.
Check the version in Help/About. If it ends in 28, you need the hotfix, which (after rebooting) will raise this minor version number to 33.

I have installed the software and then the "SCD" and it then updated to number 33.
Now I have a lot of learning to do!
