Picture Show fail to run

I have the Movie Factory Suite which includes Picture Factory 2. I keep losing the ability to launch the program. I will reinstall and it will work for a time or two and then the program fails to open when I click on the link/button for the program in the main launch window. It also won't open by clicking on the executable file. This has happened several times and I would like to know what is happening to disable the program.

Have you installed some Codec packs like K-Lite Nimo and ACE, etc?
If Yes then try to uninstalled them first. Some times these Codec packs may cause malfunction of Ulead's products.

No, I haven't installed any codec packs. Just thought maybe someone else had this problem and found the cause. Thanks for replying and trying to help.

I too have the package including Picture Show 2.0 and it started having loading problems from the launch window. I get an error message re DVDPS.exe. Everything worked fine until today. I did download Version 3 Trial the othe day and maybe that was the trigger.

It seems that installing any kind of ULead update makes it necessary to reinstall Picture Show 2. I don't have a clue as to why. I have found its folder on the install disk and just install that one application so that I don't have to reinstall all the updates to the other programs. The reinstall of Picture Show seems to get it working again.
