stops after each chapter
I want a menu but I dont want the video to stop after each chapter, I know it usually does continue playing, but for some reason it suddenly decides to go back to the menu screen after each chapter.

Separate video clips are called Titles, while marks within a title are called Chapters.
Since you are using separate TITLES, then check the little gear icon, and see what you have selected to do after each title (probably set to return to menu). Set that to play next clip, and you should be all set...
hth,
George

Yes George that is what it should do but unfortunately it dosn't.
As I said right in the beginning I checked that option, certainly seems strange, I have burnt other dvds and never had this problem, hope this isnt going to happen all the time from now on then I will have to go to another program.
Thanks george for correcting my terminology, I must get it right.

Well I finally worked out the problem all by myself.
Simple, when you make titles (which I called chapters) you have to add chapters ie go to the add/edit chapter and make a couple of chapters in the titles in order for them to play without stopping at the next title.
Took me a while to work that out, seems a bit weird too, seeing I did tick the option in Navigation control: 'continue to play the next clip' but that did not make the dvd go from one title end to the next.

Hi Kas
I had similar problems with the navigation controls.
After creating the first dvd and finding I had used the wrong navigation, I wanted to change it, reverting back and altering the navigation controls made no difference.
By starting a new burn project allowed me to select navigation option that worked.
Hope that makes sense.
Installing the latest ‘Burner Update’ Cured the problem for me.
