No compression tab in Edit Phase instruction #4

Following the "recommended procedures"...after i download AVI files from my mini DV I go to to the edit phase Instruction 1,2,3 work fine but when I open Project Properties in instruction 4 I click EDIT..but there is NO Compression tab but there is an AVI tab??? did i do something wrong and can i fix it??

The "recommended procedures" was written for an older version of Video Studio, but most of it is relevent for VS9. If you are using VS9 then, yes, the Compression drop down menu is located under the AVI tab in Project Properties.

when i click projerct properties i only have a "Ulead "tab a "General" tab and a "AVI" tab under the AVI tab is a compression box but the instructions say to select NTSC DVD but this is not on of my options ????????
