Is there a way to rotate a video clip like you can do with some photo or image editing software apps??

Yes, if you are using VS9. There are two curved arrows pointing in opposite directions -- with 90 underneath each. You have to have a clip in the timeline and be in the Edit page. The arrows I mean are on the left hand side of screen and below the little timer and audio volume windows... They are not the similar looking arrows at the top left of screen, which are Undo and Redo.
