Hello there
I have PhotoImpact here on 12 PC's all behaving and set up the same, but on one of yhe PC's there is a diffrence as such if you open an image and it is in a Floating window , then ressize the image, I will get an smaller image with a gray background but the Original Floating window remains the same.
This happens only on one PC and all the others do shrink the Floating Window to match up with any size that the image may have been sized to
I have checked preferences on all the PC. and can not see anything diffrent , have even reinstalled , but to no avail
Any Help would be much appreciated

wow! I have exactlly the same problem!! so glad to see ther is someone else out there too!! sadlly for us I have not been able to find any help.... very frustating as I have taken it out and replaced several times to no avail and have no clue as to how or why this has happend?
any one out there do you know how to fix this? please please help!!!!

I am back!! Have you have figured out how to get PHOTOIMPACT working again?
I just did!
maybe all the pros gs out there know how but I am a newie so I was thrilled to figure it out!
SOLUTION: go to search and type in PHOTOIMPACT OR ULEAD then search all files PLUS HIDDEN FILES............all the old files come up from the harddrive
Then DELETE EVERY ONE OF THEM..... so nothing is left in the machine... nothing to do with ulead at all...
2) then shut down your machine and reboot
3) go back and re install all programs with photoimpact
et vila!!
it worked for me!
Previously I had reinstalled and repaired several times.. when I went to visual open , it opened up the last file I had been trying to work on which was weird.... hmmmm........that got me thinking and that is how I came up with the search..
so important to make sure you do all hidden files in order to get it all
