burning problems

Hi, Can anyone advise please, movie factory 3 keeps crashing, details of error I have are as follows:

AppName: dvdmf.exe AppVer: 3.0.1.0 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 0001142e

If it doesn't crash it is incredibly slow. I have a decent windows xp computer, everything else is fine (hauppage pvr 150, wintv2000, nanopeg editor).
