My object library

Post by skyml »

Just installed the full version of PI 11 (upgraded from PI 10). Exported my object library first from ver 10 then uninstalled ver 10. Installed the demo version of 11 while waiting for the boxed version to arrive. Loaded my object library into the easy pallet and used it once then when I opened PI 11 demo again it was gone and if I tried to reload it again a message told me the library was already loaded but nothing is visible. Figured this was a fluke with the demo version. My boxed copy arrived today and I uninstalled the demo version, rebooted and installed the full version. Tried to load my object library and same error message.

How do I fix this? Please help!

This is one area of PI11 that I find to be a real PITA! You have to make them available in each mode you use.

For example, you have them all imported. Now you have to click My Work Space and select Customize from the menu. On the next menu that comes up, select the Easy Palette tab across the top. You will see all the installed libraries in the window on the left. You have to click each one that you want to be able to access for that given mode.

I set up a custom mode and put ALL of the features into it and that's the only mode I use. It has all my EP goodies as well.
