I have HD video clips that I am editing (1280 x 720 P). But after finishing the edit and I go to File>Create, there are no HD Templates listed in the Templates drop down menu, only Standard Definition templates. Does anyone know why this would occur? I don't have an HD Camcorder and running Win 2000 SP4.
I create my animations in HD formats (1280x720 P or other) and edit in MSP 8.0. But when I go to Create the final video file, there are no HD format templates to choose. I am editing and creating now, and will go to HD Blu Ray when they come out. Is HD only supported if I have an HD Camcorder?

You can export to HD WMV templates by clicking the TEMPLATES button in the Create/Video File dialog when AVI is the set filetype. There you'll find several options.
If your current project setting is one of the HDV formats available when you start a new project then the correct frame sizes will be available on the Create/Video File dialog when MPEG is the set filetype. Go to the Options/General tab then choose an HD resolution, set your MPEG quality + bitrate and audio format on the Compression tab and go.
