Ulead Video Studio 9

I just bought the upgrade of Ulead video studio 9 (from 5). I seem to be having problems capturing video using the fast forward mode. Several times now I marked and unmarked the the ones that I want. Sometimes I get kicked out and lose everything. Sometimes it captures the wrong section. HELP!!!

Fast Forward Mode ????? - perhaps you could explain what that is - you can only capture video from a tape in real time ..

I guess I should use the right terminology. I mean Quickscan.
