Post by fileliot »

Hello.

When I capture a stream video TV DVBT, in 544x576 pixels from by Box Hauppauge DEC2000T, a shift ( sound and picture)appears after 40mn of video, but not visible in origine video, the problem happen after burn a image file ( ISO, make by Nero sofware), or burn on a disk DVD.
The sofware converts the origin video ( 720x576 pixels), before to transfer to DVD, but I can't change resolution.

How ajust this problem ?

Before thanks.

Bye.

Your file is probably corrupted. I call it "sneaky corruption", because the corruption may not show-up until the file is re-coded or remultiplexed. At that point the original corruption is probably fixed, but you are left with sync problems.

I assume that the Hauppauge device makes an MPEG file? Did you edit it? (The MPEG format is not designed to be edited, and I've had MPEG files corrupted by simply editing them.)

A couple of programs that have tools to repair MPEG time stamps are VideoReDo ($50 USD) and Womble ($50 - $100 USD). You can get free-trial versions of both programs. The trick is to repair the corruption before the sync problems show-up.

If you determine that your unedited MPEGs are OK, you avoid corrutpion problems by using one of these programs for editing. VideoReDo is a simple cut and splice editor. Or, if you want a full featured MPEG editor, try Womble MPEG Video Wizard.

Hello,

Thanks for your response.

I tried your solution with VideoReDo sofware, it's a good sofware, and I bought a purchase.
The result is perfect, the elements in phase ( sound and picture).

Thanks again for your solution.

Bye.
