Newbie: Which ULEAD product do I need?

I have a copy of a large .vob (1GB) file that I took off
a Sony Handycam DVD recorder. I no longer have the original DVD disk.

I want to:

edit it,
add some titles
add audio,
burn it to a DVD or VCD.

I really only need to do this once or twice so I dont want to spend a great deal of money.

Can someone please advise me which product I need.

Providing the original DVD from which the .vob file came was not protected in any way then you should just be able to change the .vob extension to .mpg and then import and edit it in any programme - so the simplest choice for you could be VideoStudio.

I bought VideoStudio9 and like what I see.

However, the 950MB .vob file I took from the DVD disk only plays for 14seconds with videostudio [after renaming with .mpg]. It should be at least 20 minutes long.

Am I doing something wrong???

I have asked for the original DVD back before its re-formatted but its on the other side of the world and will take a while to arrive.
