Installing Fonts?

Where do you install the free fonts I downloaded? Please help

Free fonts for what? You've posted to a generic forum and not to a particular product.

fonts can be installed into c:windows/fonts directory,
once you are in this directory look for the option for installing new fonts and then browse to the place where your installable font is located, and your font will be installed into native windows directory and can be used by any program that runs on windows.

I am sorry, these were free fonts I downloaded from the Ulead website. The instructions are not to install in the Ulead directory. So do these have to be installed in the Windows Font Direc for any and all programs to use?
