Scrolling Credits
Will someone post how to create scrolling text using MS8 (e.g., credits at the end of a video) The text will begin at the bottom of the screen and move up. There will be many names in the list.

First open the manual and browse to page 133.
Once in the Titler enter your text either from a text file or direct entry.
There's a max text file size of 5k if you're loading it from notpad etc., so you may have to create more than one title and use them serially so keep that in mind. "Using them serially" means creating several 5k titles then overlapping them on separate overlay tracks to synch 'em up.
Now for creating a roll, crawl and how to justify the text (to answer the unasked questions

Or moving path on an image file...
Terry's tutorial is great. Another method, if you must have graphics or some fancier formatting in your scrolling titles, you can use a tall skinny image file and define a moving path that scrolls through it.
