Ulead auto card reader detect

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can stop Ulead from automatically detecting my card reader. I don't see it in the preferences but perhaps I'm looking in the wrong area. I just bought a new DVD burner and it came bundled with Ulead Movie Factory 3.5 deluxe which includes alot of ulead software. At the moment I'm not ready for it. Before installing the software I could plug in my card reader and my XP wizard would come up and ask me what I wanted to do ...what program i wanted to open my device with. I no longer have that option. Only thing that pops up is a Ulead window asking me if I want to open my images...no more XP wizard. I looked through the XP services and I don't see Ulead auto detect listed ...or I'm blind. I know there are plenty of workarounds but I'd really prefer to have the XP wizard back. Thanks for any assistance you can give me.

Ok I managed to get it sorted out. I went ahead and clicked OK to the ULEAD Auto detector to open my images from my card reader. Ulead opened but the wrong drive letter was associated with my reader so it didn't open it...fine, no problem, I know how to fix that when i need to. So I closed the program and unplugged my card reader and plugged it back in. No more ULEAD Autodetector screen...my XP wizard returned. Anyways, no clue what happened behind the scenes after the first process but i guess the auto detector decided it should give up....t'il I at least associate the right drive letter with my reader.

Is anyone else here using Photo Explorer 8.5se that is bundled with the Movie Factory 3.5 deluxe edition ? It all came with my new Pioneer DVD burner. By the way, I burned a DVD slideshow effortlessly from the Movie Factory and the quality was exceptional.
