Back up of program

I am interested in backing up my Ulead Photo Explorer 8.5. I have taken the time to make a very large CD image index of seeveral dozen cd's with many pictures. I use this index to seach for photos. However I want to back up this information so when my system crashes, I do not need to reload all those disks. Any ideas on what files need to be backup up, such as the CD index and also the photo thumbnails?
